When disagreements get to a point where talking about it becomes counter-productive, mediation can help turn the tides. In family business, these disagreements are often about roles, responsibilities, compensation or other personal, family or business concerns. The sooner they are dealt with, the better.

The worst alternative to mediation is court, and studies show going through the legal system is not only far more costly, but also far more time-consuming and unfortunately very damaging to family relationships. Before it gets to the point of litigation, go to mediation!

As your mediator, I can assist you with:

  • Having a productive conversation about sensitive issues
  • Communicating in an open, honest, and focused way
  • Understanding each other's perspectives
  • Coming to a clear agreement that work for everyone

Participants: 2 or more individuals with conflicting perspectives

Process: Pre-meetings with each participant + 3-hour mediated meeting. Follow-up calls 2-6 weeks post- meeting.
